Crimson Tidal Bass

(Micropterus Big Al)

The Crimson Tidal Bass (Micropterus Big Al) is a rare sub-species of Largemouth Bass. While found worldwide, it is native to the lakes, rivers and swamps surrounding the Tuscaloosa, AL area. It is beautifully colored, with scaled hues of crimson and white. It grows big and mean on a steady diet of Tigers, Gators, Bulldogs, Bayou Tigers and Rebels. The Crimson Tidal Bass is highly sought after by anglers nationwide and are noted for the aggressiveness of their ‘fight’. Anglers often holler and yell out loud “Roll Tide!” when they hook into one.
